Collaboration with VERNEZ

I'm really excited to share this news with you guys!
I'm collaborating with Vernez!
If you guys haven't heard yet, Vernez is basically everything you need from a fashion based app/website. From trends to moodboards to shopping! It's like a one stop destination for us - the fashion addicts. It's trendy, inspiring and most of all very convenient and easy to use.

So let's imagine this; you have a hot date this saturday and you of course want to look your best, you have so many options in your head and you want to show them to your bff for some opinion, so you start trying on everything but nothing seems to work...! argh how frustrating, and now you made a total mess out of your room too! It was such a hustle, you don't even feel like going on that date anymore...
This is when Vernez can save you, almost like your digital fairy godmother! Instead of trying on everything and making a mess, you could easily add your own clothes to your digital wardrobe (mess-free) and make a few boards with different options without having to tidy back everything and your bffs can easily tell you which is the killer outfit!

Vernez is also a online fashion community where you can share your inspirations and outfits, is a place where you can let your inner stylist come out.
The app itself is very clean and minimalistic, easy to use and you can shop whatever outfit you like from a post!

In collaboration with Vernez, I can give you sooner access to the app! Just drop me an email if you want me to sign you up or you can also check out the Vernez's website.

Blue Velvet

Here it is the outfit I worn on the day of our exhibition.
I opted for quite a formal look, this outfit is all about textures, when I saw this suit in Topshop I knew I had to have it in my life. The colour, the shape and texture are just perfect, I couldn't ask for anything more from a suit.
And I just love the contrast of the royal blue with the gold, it makes all the accessories pop a lot more.

Portfolio Exhibition at London College of Style

This day has come, the final day of our styling course... can't help but feel a bit nostalgic already!
It was such a perfect ending for the course, got to catch up with all my stylish classmates and lots of people from the industry. To make it even more fab and fun the party was hosted by Prince Cassius!
And not to mention the finger food and champagne were just delish.

Thank you London College of Style for such an amazing experience! Not only I learnt about styling but I also got to know a lot of lovely people during the course <3
Best of luck for everyone!

I was an angel living in the garden of evil...

The latest and final shoot for my styling course! This time the theme is renaissance, and I have to admit that this was my favourite shoot so far! Had so much fun styling and customising the halo and the skirt---I'm so wearing it for Christmas!

I think the inspiration is pretty obvious, I was inspired by the renaissance painting of the Virgin Mary, there's something about the way the painters painted Her, She just seemed really elegant but melancholic to me.
So here it is my own interpretation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a little bit more vain and over the top but still modest and elegant.
Hope you guys love this shoot as much as I do!

Out of the Blue

Here it is the photoshoot for the scandinavian shoot we did a few weeks back!
For this shoot it's all about being minimal and quite clean, but to me it's more fun when something looks a little bit more quirky, just in the slight details I paired it with some trainer socks with derby and rolled the trousers up, it almost reminded me of that tall awkward boy we all know from middle school. And of course the bomber jacket was the main piece of this shoot that made everything a lot more interesting, thanks to my designer friend Anna Kim for the piece.

It's fur season

Lately I've realised that I got an obsession with furs...! Specially pastel ones.
This one that I got on is by Helen Moore, love that there's two tones of blue, pastel and navy. The combination of these two, in my opinion, makes it look a bit more quirky and actually even easier to wear.
And what's more important is it kept me warm during a rainy London weather!
Let's also appreciate how cool the graffiti looks! Sorry if you hated the human centipede reference, but I loved it.

Little Beige Hood

Fall is finally here, the time has changed and pumpkin spice latte is out of Starbucks' menu already - yup that's how I mark the end of autumn...!
Lately I've been really liking girlier silhouettes, the softer colours and textures, maybe that's my way of coping with the grim weather that we've been having in London from the past few days.

This coat from Zara is quickly becoming one of my favourite coat! It goes with almost everything from my wardrobe, and I love the little leather straps with the gold. And let's talk about this patterned skirt! I'm more than sure that it's inspired by Valentino - totally obsessed with it - the pattern and colour just goes really well together, and it's the perfect length and shape for me. Love it.
Oh and my nails, I actually did them myself, I saw the fake nails from House of Holland the other day and I so wanted them but again I don't really like fake nails just because I find them quite inconvenient, so I went home and did it myself!

Scandinavian photoshoot

Scandinavian themed photoshoot.
That was my first time styling a male model but it was so much fun! As it was a scandi themed shoot, I decided to choose something quite simple but still contemporary, the main piece for the shoot if the bomber jacket by Anna Kim, as it has a lot of interesting detailing in it already I thought I'll just let it be the focus. I also wanted it to have more of a sport luxe vibe so I paired it with a crisp white shirt and trousers, and trainers socks to finish the look.
The official photos will be up around next week. But I hope you all enjoy this sneak peaks and backstage pictures!

Oh...SNAP!

I was out in Shoreditch with a few friends during the weekend, it's always interesting looking at the street art around the area, there's always something new in Shoreditch! Impossible to ever get bored of it! I know that most people don't admit that they are hipsters, so if you are one at heart and like underrated cool bar to chill, Life Bar in Old street would be perfect for you. The cocktails were a.ma.zing!
I guess if you know Shoreditch, you would already know that I was a bit too dressed up...! I'm the kind of person that gets more excited choosing the outfit then actually going to the party, so why waste a good day to be completely overdressed right?!

the first pic's a bit blurry but I just love the street art too much not to post it!

Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops

After a busy day at LCS, me and some friends decided to chill and dine in Bluebird. Is it just me or everytime that I go there I think of Made in Chelsea?!
Ok so a little confession about my outfit, truth is I have an abuse problem with this jacket... I just couldn't stop stroking the furry collar! It is just too soft!

70s themed styling - backstage

Our first editorial photoshoot with the London College of Style! The theme was 70s inspired.
My inspiration for this 70s shoot was based on the stylish Jane Birkin and a mix of the quirkiness of Annie Hall.
It was such and amazing experience and it was so much fun to style the model Becky Dejong.
Can not wait to see the final editorials!

Just another street casual outfit, wearing this Cos pin stripe jumper from the men's section, to feminise it a bit more I paired it with a scalloped white collar and a little pastel mint bag.
